If you don't have many problems with your skin and it doesn't seem to get too oily or too dry and tight feeling, it's likely that your skin type is normal . People with normal skin types typically have balanced hydration and oil production, fine pores, uniform luminosity, a smooth texture, and good elasticity.
If your skin is problematic and seems to have a mixture of oily and dry areas it's likely you have combination skin. Most people with combination skin have moderate to high oil production, good to dehyrdated hydration, larger pores in the t-zone than the sides of the face, a build-up of dead skin & oil, dry flaking skin outside of the t-zone, oilier skin in the center of the face and most likely some blemishes and comedones.
If your skin can tend to feel tight, dry and dull looking it's likely that you have a dry skin type. People with dry skin tend to have low oil production, low hydration, small pores, a dull look/a lack of luminosity, rough, thin, tight and even flaking skin.
If you feel that your skin tends to look shiny and oily most of the time it's likely you have an oily skin type. People with oily skin typically have moderate to high oil production, good to dehydrated hydration, a large pore size, a shiny appearance, comedones & blemishes, an uneven skin tone due to congestion and the skin may feel thick and firm.
